The certificate degree program in marketing management is designed to prepare executives to encounter all the basic challenges in the industry: how a company decides what to sell, which customers and markets to target, and the best means of reaching them. In some courses, you work in project teams to create strategies for product development, pricing, promotion and distribution.  You learn to respond to the demands of competitors, the government, and larger social issues.

Principles of Marketing – 8 weeks

This course focuses on marketing as a major business function and social process. This class will review and analyze market forces, determination of price, product, distribution, promotion and organizational policies required to control and fulfill planned marketing programs.

Strategic Brand Management – 8 weeks

This class reviews the concepts and tools in strategic brand management. Students will develop analytical and decision making skills for planning and implementing a marketing strategy from the brand manager’s point of view.

Marketing Communications Strategy – 8 weeks

This course focuses on determining promotional budgets, planning and building promotional effectiveness, scheduling and monitoring promotional impact.

Marketing Channel Management – 8 weeks

This course focuses on marketing channels as both economic and social systems. Students will learn about channel change and evolution, channel membership, structural and functional relationships, inter organizational behavior and channel information management.

Marketing Strategies for Innovations – 8 weeks

This class reviews the commercializing of new products, services and technologies. Students will be introduced to the diffusion of innovations, market planning, product strategy design and marketing decision making.
