Overview
This course is intended for the person who is interested in developing a portfolio of skills in general project management. Class discussions will be based on case situations and on articles from business and technical publications. The class will include hands-on work with cost estimation, project scheduling, resource allocation, and earned value analysis.

Session Objectives
• Understanding the elements of successful project management
• The organization and planning necessary from requirements definition to project closure
• The process used to determine project scope, estimate costs and schedules, organize and staff a project, monitor project progress, and develop lessons learned from completed projects
