Joint Dual Degree MBA Options

M.P.A./MBA
The Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs and Whitman have launched a new master of public administration (M.P.A.) combined with the master of business administration (MBA). This program leverages the national reputations and programmatic strengths of both schools in preparing students to be versatile, multidisciplinary and future-leading thinkers ready to take on the important challenges in the world related to public administration, international relations and business.

This dual-degree program is offered in a streamlined format, requiring students to take 76 credit hours for each dual-degree. Students can complete the programs in 2 years including summers.

M.A. in International Relations/MBA

B.M./MBA, Music Industry,
3+2 Program Description
The joint B.M. Music Industry/MBA program is designed to provide high-caliber students at Syracuse University with the opportunity to complete a bachelor’s degree in the Setnor College of Music and an MBA degree in the Whitman School of Management in five years with minimal additional expense and time.

JD/MBA, Law,
Law+ Business = Opportunity
The College of Law is the primary school for students enrolled in a joint degree program at Syracuse University. Students must complete their first year of law school and earn a cumulative 2.50 grade point average to be approved and matriculate into their selected joint degree program. For a joint degree in Business Administration, you will earn 72 law credits plus 42 approved MBA credits. Both programs must be completed within four years. Students seeking dual degrees must apply to both programs separately, and admission to the College of Law does not guarantee admission to the Whitman School MBA program.

The H. John Riley Dual Engineering/MBA Program is a leadership development Program that gives Syracuse University students the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree from the College of Engineering and Computer Science, and an MBA degree from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Graduates in this five-year program enter the workforce with a unique combination of skills—the engineering expertise needed to develop technological innovations and the business knowledge to put these ideas into action.
